The Scottish government announced £11.2 million for all childcare providers in the private and third sectors, including out-of-school care providers, to help meet the extra costs incurred to comply with public health guidance in response to coronavirus.

The Transitional Support Fund will support childcare providers in the private and third sectors to safely re-open. The grants will help with costs including increased cleaning and development of outdoor learning spaces.

More information as to how providers can access the Transitional Support Fund will be available by 31 July.
