Before marking a child absent, ensure that you have defined your absentee category. For more information, please see the article:
How to mark a child as absent?
Marking a Child as absent using the Cheqdin App:
1. Log in to the cheqdin app
2. Select 'Mark Absentee'
3. Enter your PIN number
4. Select the child
5. Select the reason (as defined in your absentee category)
6. Click save, and you will see a prompt on the screen
Once a child is marked as absent, a 'red crossed circle' icon will appear next to the child's name. This information will be displayed in the web portal and mobile apps.
If a child has been marked as absent in error, you can reverse this by deleting the entry in the web portal. Simply click on the 'Delete' icon to remove the record.
