Creating and defining NCS or ECCE funding schemes are quite simple using Cheqdin. Here's how:
Step 1: Create Funding Scheme
Go to 'Billing' > Funding Schemes > Create Scheme
Update the fields. Start by giving the scheme that you are defining an easily identifiable name, like NCS Term 1, 2 to 3 Yrs Funding etc followed by entering the start date, end date, hourly rate and weekly hours as applicable.
Click 'Save' to assign children to the scheme defined.
Step 2: Assign Children
Select the children that you wish to apply the scheme to. Use the filters to quickly select students and apply the scheme to all children shown on the screen.
You can also deselect children by unchecking the box next to their profile. Click the next arrow to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Save Scheme
Here you can preview the scheme you defined. Make sure you do a quick re-check of all the details you entered.
Step 4. Viewing and Reviewing Schemes
When you click on 'Save Scheme', schemes will be saved to the Funding Schemes page. You can also edit schemes individually by clicking on the 'Action' button.
Use this option to easily edit schemes or add/remove a student or delete the scheme.
Step 5. Update schemes for all students
Repeat this process until scheme details for all students are updated.
The scheme details are also available under the student's profile as well for easy reference.
