How to set up Term Time Plans?

Modified on Tue, 20 Feb 2024 at 12:29 PM

If your school or childcare setting follows term time schedules, you can customise your term calendar to fit your needs.

Here's how you can set up your term time:

Step 1: On the web portal's home dashboard, go to 'Centre Settings' > 'Products' > Click on 'Centre Calendar'.

By default, the calendar displays the current year. You can view and update other years by clicking on the years tab.

You can update the calendar by 'Date' or 'Day'. In this example, we'll show you how to update term times using the 'Day' option. After selecting 'Day', you need to click and drag the days that you will be operating your term time. For instance, let's update term 3 for the months of January to March 2024 (Mon-Fri). After selecting the days, click 'Save'.

Upon saving, a pop-up will appear, prompting you to confirm if you're updating the closure days or term time. Select 'Term Time', enter a description or select from an existing term name. Click on 'Submit' and then click again on 'Save'.

Repeat the steps for any other terms that you operate, for example, term 4, summer term, autumn term, etc, based on your business model.

Provided below is an example of how an updated term time calendar for the year looks like.

Any updates made here will automatically appear on the products and students' schedule/rota pages.

For example, after updating the term time for the year, you can go to 'Centre Settings' > 'Products' > Select a product by clicking on any product name. This will display the term time and closure days for that product making it easier for you to update the bookable days.
