Centre Settings - Adding Tags to Students

Modified on Mon, 18 Mar 2024 at 01:44 PM

Tags are a useful tool for doing a quick search on the student's register. For instance, you can tag students as 'Sibling Discount', 'Full Day Mon-Wed', 'School Gate Collection', 'Vegetarian', 'Nuts Allergy', 'Asthmatic', or any other relevant tag.

Using tags can help you simplify your workflow and efficiently find specific groups of students. This is useful for generating reports, creating class or after-school club lists, assigning health information or allergies, or communicating with parents or other stakeholders. It's important to keep in mind that you can add or assign a tag only after creating the student's record (profile information) in the students register.

To Add Tags to Students:

1. On the web portal, go to 'Centre Settings'

2. Click on 'Students

3. Click on the name of the student you want to assign a tag to.

4. Under the 'Tags' section start typing to create a new tag and click on 'Create (tag name)' to save the tag.  select a tag from the drop-down list displayed on your screen. Click on 'View all tags' to view all existing tags and all the students assigned to each tag.
