How to Set Up and Publish Online Booking or 'Book Now' Link

Modified on Thu, 25 Jan at 9:32 PM

By setting up online bookings, you are creating an online booking platform for your customers to book sessions with you.

As a quick reminder, you'll need to complete all 4 steps to start taking bookings.

Step 1: Create Cheqbook

  • Define 'Products' with Session type ‘Adhoc’ if you haven't already done so.
  • A preview of the booking form will be displayed below.
  • Update contact details, Booking t&Cs, and design colours, fonts etc, as per your preference.

Step 2: Define your Payment Options

Update the 'Payment options' as per your business model, you can setup online, offline or both.

  • You can add up to eight custom payment options of your choice. The most commonly used offline payment options are Cash, Bank Transfer, Childcare Voucher, Taxfree Childcare, Cheque, Pay Later, Pay In Instalments etc.

The invoice later option can be used when you want to club both ad-hoc and contracted bookings into one invoice for a student. This can be easily generated using the rules-based invoicing feature of Cheqdin.

Curious to see how this option will look for your customers?

Go to Step 4. Publish the link and click on ‘View My Form' to see your live booking form.

Step 3: Cheqbook Settings

Review Advanced settings and Occupancy settings if you wish to do so, if not your account will be set to default recommended settings. You don’t have to update the occupancy calendar unless you'd like to block off some sessions due to staff unavailability or other reasons.

Step 4: Publish your Booking Form and share the link online

Once the above steps are completed, you have successfully set up your account to take online bookings.

Shown below is an example of what you will see once you start receiving bookings:
