Step 2 : How to Collect Registration Fees?

Please note that this step is optional. If you don't want to collect any registration fees, you can skip this step. 

Once you have created your registration form, you are ready to set up an automatic online registration fee collection system for all registrations. Your customers will have the ability to pay you immediately using debit or credit cards.

If you don't want to collect fees from your customers, set the option to 'No' (default) or skip this step and move on to step 3 - Landing Pages.  

To collect registration fees:

 Go to Registrations > open or select your registration form > go to step 2 'Collect Fees' and:

1. Toggle the collect registration fees option to 'Yes'

2. Enter the amount you'd like to collect for each registration

3. Enter a description for the fees

4. Set up your online payment account, set up Stripe, PayPal Business or both 

5. Update your fee collection terms and conditions

pay online using any credit/debit card or Parents and carers can make payments online using any credit/debit card (Stripe) or using their PayPal account. Please note that it is NOT mandatory for parents to have a PayPal account to make a payment. They can use a debit or credit card and the payment will arrive directly to your centre's PayPal business account.   

Important: 

If you choose to accept payments but do not activate a payment provider like PayPal, Stripe, or both to complete the setup process, your fee collection page will not be visible to parents, and they won't be able to make any payments.

To update registration fee terms and conditions, please use the editor to enter your desired content. You can customise the default content based on your centre's policies and requirements.

Your customers can now easily view terms, fees, and payment requirements before filling in the registration form. Below is an example of a registration form with fee collection enabled. 

Once you've enabled the collect fees option, here's how the 'Pay Fees' section will appear on your registration form:

Below is an example of what the final step of the registration process will look like for parents and carers:

Upon clicking the 'Pay Now' button, the user will be directed to the payment details screen to enter their debit/credit card information or log in to their existing PayPal account to complete the payment. Once the payment has been processed, both the centre and the parent will receive a confirmation email verifying the registration and payment of fees.

For the registration forms that you've received a payment, it will appear on your online registrations dashboard as shown in the example below:
