Syncing Registration Forms for children directly added to the 'Children's Register'

With Cheqdin, there are three ways in which you can enrol children into the system. To learn more on what are the different ways to enrol children see articles:

Different ways to enrol children | Option B: Using Children's Register

Different ways to enrol children | Option C: Using Bookings Link

If you have added children directly into the Children's register individually or via the bulk upload option and now you'd like their parents to submit their registration forms, here's how you can do it:

Before you start this process, make sure you have completed adding all the children at your centre to the register. Below is an example of what the Children's Register would look like once you've updated all records.

  • Go to 'Registrations Dashboard'
  • Click on the 'Sync records from children's register' icon

This synchronisation process will ensure that all children's records in the children's register would have an associated record in the 'Registrations Dashboard'.

Once the sync process is complete, click on the 'Batch Action' icon, Unlock Form option. This process will unlock the registration form for parents and will trigger an email to the registered email address of the parents asking them to review and re-submit the application.

After a parent has edited and submitted the form, the status will change to 'Pending Review' which then requires to be approved by the childcare centre.
