Troubleshooting parents portal login issues: A parent cannot select my centre name in the parents portal when logging in?

If a registered parent or carer (student is in enrolled status) is having trouble selecting your centre name when they log in to the parents portal, this could be caused by your registrations dashboard not being in sync or refreshed. For instance, this happens when a student was added manually through the student's register and the registration form is not being synced to that student's information in the registrations dashboard.


In order to refresh or sync the changes to your registrations dashboard, you will need to sync records from the student's register. This action ensures that the number of students in 'enrolled' status will be the same in your student's register and registrations dashboard.


Here's how to sync records from the student's register: 


  1. Ensure that your online registration form is in published status
  2. Go to 'Admissions' > 'Registrations Dashboard'
  3. Click on the 'Sync records from student's register' icon


Once the syncing process is complete, the parent should be able to log into the portal and select your centre to view their profile, manage registrations, bookings, etc.
