How to make online payments from the Parents Portal?

Modified on Fri, 04 Nov 2022 at 04:59 PM

Parents and carers can make online payments from the parents portal if their centre has enabled this feature. Centres have the flexibility to choose and allow multiple online payment options.

Important:

You won't be able to make online payments by debit/credit card, PayPal or direct debit if your childcare centre has not enabled these payment options. If you prefer to make online payments and do not see any payment options available to you, please contact your centre manager at the first instance to enable online payments.

Here's how you can pay any outstanding fees or balances to the centre:

Step 1: Log in to the parents portal with your account details by visiting this link: https://cheqdin.com/app/portal/public/login?type=parents

Step 2: Click on the 'My Payments' tab.

Step 3: Select a child you wish to make a payment for. All children registered to your account will appear here. Please note that you can only make payments for one child at a time.

Step 4: You can select from the available payment methods that have been enabled by your childcare centre. You can pay the outstanding balance by selecting the 'Pay Outstanding' button or clicking on the individual PayPal or other payment icons under the 'Action' tab and pay the outstanding amount per invoice.

If you're paying the entire outstanding balance:

After clicking on 'Pay Outstanding' follow the on-screen prompts and enter your payment details to make a payment. Please DO NOT refresh the page or click the back button while your payment transaction is being processed.

If you're paying per invoice:

Click on the Paypal or other payment method icon, and enter your payment details to make a payment.

If you're paying by GoCardless Direct Debit (ACH):

For this, you will need a direct debit mandate you have set up with the centre.

Before you can use the direct debit payment option, you will need to have completed the mandate to set up a direct debit sent to you by the centre. Once a direct debit mandate has been set up, the payment will be automatically taken on the due date set by the centre. Otherwise, if you wish to manually make a payment for a different amount, click on the 'GC' icon and enter the amount of your choice.

It is important to note that all payments and payment methods are administered and controlled by the respective childcare centre or school. Please contact your centre manager directly for any questions about the payment methods and options available.
