Is it mandatory to update booked sessions even if I only want to use the sign in-out feature?

Some settings use only the digital attendance feature to meet their sign in-out requirements. Cheqdin auto-populates live daily registers to help you sign in-out quickly and efficiently instead of browsing through records of several children who might not be attending on the day. 

For the live register to automatically capture information of children who will be attending the day/session, you are required to book the children into sessions so that the system can do the rest of the work for you automatically i.e. populate live daily registers.  

You can only sign in or sign out those children who are booked in for a session (expected for the day and/or session) that you are trying to sign in or out.
