Is it mandatory to update schedules even if I only want to use the sign in-out feature?

Some settings use only the digital attendance feature to meet their sign-in-out requirements. Cheqdin auto-populates live daily registers to help you sign in and out quickly and efficiently instead of browsing through records of several students who might not be attending that day. 

For the live register to automatically capture information about students who will be attending the day/session, you are required to book the students into sessions so that the system can do the rest of the work for you automatically, i.e. populate live daily registers.  

You can only sign in or sign out those children who are booked in for a session (expected for the day and/or session) that you are trying to sign in or out.
